ADI-Negev is a unique experience for volunteers. I was immersed in the lives of the residents in a very personal way. I could not help but fall in love with the little children who were trying to celebrate life as we all do. My charges love to be in the sunshine, enjoy the play grounds, pet the friendly animals and rejoice in their loving response……my contribution for making these activities come to life was very gratifying for me.

I could make it possible for these children who needed the attention of one on one relationship and that is when I was able to empower them by being there to direct, guide and protect by my very being there participating in the activities they loved most……to feel the joy they felt went swimming, petting farm animals, and on and on simple activities that brought so much joy into their lives and mine too………

To share in the peaceful sleep of an infant strolling in the sunshine who otherwise would be indoors day in and day out!!!

These were magical moments in my life to feel how simple acts of kindness and caring become so transformative in the lives of so many, SIMPLY EXHILARATING.

Health and time permitting I promise myself to engage again and again in Volunteering for ADI where human dignity is preserved at its best. LOVED IT EACH AND EVERYDAY.
