I feel enriched

I feel enriched

Shalom, my name is Kate. I came from Poland and I am volunteering in Israel over one year now. Almost every day I spend time with lovely residents in ADI Moriah in Gedera.

Before I came here I didn’t expect that during my time in Israel I will experience, see, receive so many wonderful things and meet amazing and interesting people from around the world.

Through personal relationships with children’s parents and Moriah workers I have opportunity to know more about Judaism in a practical way. On every Friday I celebrate Shabbat with residents. I can also participate in some Jewish holidays as Purim, Pesach, Sukkoth, Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah.

Besides that with other volunteers we go on excursions around Israel. We experience great hospitality and have joy together with Israeli people. My adventure in Israel definitely helps me to understand Judaism religion better. Also as a Christian I feel enriched through seeing biblical places and through meeting Israeli culture.

We need your support!

By donating to ADI Israel, YOU will help us meet our goal to enable each child, regardless of the severity of disability.
