ADI Jerusalem and Hadassah Medical Center Take First Steps in a New Alliance to Benefit People with Disabilities

ADI Jerusalem and Hadassah Medical Center launched a new initiative of cooperation for the benefit of children and adults with disabilities with a joint meeting of senior staff from both organizations this week.

Hadassah Ein Kerem representatives Professor Shimon Reiff, Director of Pediatrics, Dr. Hashavia Saar, Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and Mrs. Tamar Paley, Director of Community Relations, welcomed Mrs. Shlomit Grayevski, CEO of ADI Jerusalem, Rabbi Reuven Weingarten, member of the ADI Board of Directors, Moshe Savil, Deputy Director of Regulation, Mrs. Rivki Freilich, Head Nurse at ADI Jerusalem, Dr. Natali Dichter, ADI Jerusalem Medical Director and Mrs. Racheli Teller, ADI Community Relations Coordinator for a tour of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Center and an in-depth presentation of the hospital’s latest medical research and developments concerning children with disabilities.

“We are pleased to strengthen our relationship with care providers within the community dedicated to the welfare and wellbeing of children with disabilities,” commented Dr. Reiff. “Providing care for children with disabilities requires professionalism and dedication and Hadassah is proud to be a leader in this field. We consider ADI a partner who can assist us with hospitalized care as well as preventive medicine and ongoing community care.”

Shlomit Grayevski added that, “cooperation is a wonderful tool, especially when dealing with the complex world of children with disabilities. The cooperation between the educational and rehabilitative framework of ADI Jerusalem and Hadassah Medical Center can spur mutual enrichment. We are grateful for the opportunity to become acquainted with the medical staff who successfully head Hadassah’s pediatric departments, leaders in the field of pediatric care.”
