Housing Minister Yoav Galant Visits ADI Negev

“I extend my thanks and great appreciation to the devoted, highly-professional staff at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran. Your exemplary work sets a new standard of excellence for social progress in the State of Israel.” – Housing Minister Major General (res.) Yoav Galant

Despite the recent period of upheaval within the country, Israel’s Housing Minister Yoav Galant chose to visit the ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran Rehabilitation Village. He sought to witness first-hand its remarkable activity on behalf of the nation’s disability community, as well as its innovative rehabilitative care for countless individuals in need.

The Village is reaching an exciting new peak of development – constituting a veritable revolution in the field of rehabilitation in Israel’s south. ADI Negev’s planned Rehabilitation Hospital is soon to put the country’s Negev region on the map of national employment and cutting-edge rehabilitative care. It will provide a desperately needed solution for countless residents of the nation’s southern population who have long awaited the opening of rehabilitative services within a reasonable proximity from their home.

Housing Minister Galant expressed his support for the planned establishment of the first residential neighborhood for ADI Negev employees and volunteers. This, he maintained, will provide a sure incentive for talented and dedicated people to settle in Israel’s southern region, even as it promises a better future for the nation’s disability community throughout the country.
