When ADI Jerusalem’s secret plan to dress up for Purim as Beitar Jerusalem soccer fans leaked out to the La Familia fan club, members decided to surprise residents by supplying the relevant paraphernalia to make the costumes authentic.

In a heartwarming show of kindness, fan club members brought Beitar Jerusalem shirts, hats and scarves along with Purim food packages (mishloach manot) and other gifts. Visitors and residents sang and danced together and promised to stay in touch in the future.

“It was a really special atmosphere,” said Rina, the class teacher. “Our students were smiling the entire time and our guests really fell for them and promised to help with whatever they can all year long.”
