Agreement Signed Between ADI Negev and Urk County of The Netherlands

During his recent visit to Holland, ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran Chairman Major General (Res.) Doron Almog signed a cooperative agreement with Urk County Mayor Pieter Van Maaren in the presence of Israel’s Ambassador to the Netherlands, Mr. Haim Divon.

The agreement will promote volunteer work on the part of Israel’s friends from the Netherlands at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran.  It will also increase awareness of ADI Negev and its contribution to society and, specifically, to the rights and welfare of the nation’s weakest sector.

Particularly at a time when the world is gripped by fear of terrorism and hatred, and the State of Israel is subject to harsh criticism and condemnation, Israeli society speaks out on behalf of tolerance, human kindness, and love for one’s fellowman. Through cooperative efforts between the 2 countries in education, research, and volunteering, yet another milestone may thus be reached to bring all toward Tikkun Olam, a more just society and a better world for tomorrow.

We need your support!

By donating to ADI Israel, YOU will help us meet our goal to enable each child, regardless of the severity of disability.
